日本古来の和文様や和風デザインをベースに、サイズは日本規格サイズで、シルエット、素材、ディテールは現代風にアレンジされています。単なる和柄ではなく、カジュアルテイストをプラスして、タウンユース用としてスタイリッシュにご着用いただけますようにカスタマイズされています。

スカジャン(メンズ リバーシブル スーベニアジャケット)です。

リバーシブルのスカジャンで、表側には刺繍が配されています。裏側は無地です。

素材は表生地・裏生地ともにポリエステル100%のサテン生地です。
タラタラとしたドレープ感と、独特の重厚な光沢が特徴のサテン生地です。

表地にはダイヤ状にキルティングステッチがほどこされ、
ポリエステル100%の中綿が適度な量で詰められています。
中綿の量を多すぎず適度な量にすることにより、保温性を確保しつつも、
モコモコとした着ぶくれ感が軽減され、スッキリとした着用感になります。
また、キルティングにより中綿が寄ったり、ずれたりしにくい構造になっています。

刺繍は、高度な技術をもった機械刺繍で再現しています。

衿と袖口と裾は、アクリル70%、ウール30%のリブ生地で切り替えられています。

フロントファスナーには、噛まないようにスムーズに動き、
ボディにダメージを与えないよう角が丸くなっている、
YKK別注のオリジナル専用ジッパーが採用されています。

表面・裏面ともにウエスト部には、斜めに口が開いた両玉縁ポケットが設けられています。

"Script (Hanatabi Gakudan)" is a label spun-off from casualwear brand Switch Planning in Japan, and its focus is on embroidered souvenir jackets and other items with traditional Japanese motifs.

Featuring traditional Japanese patterns and designs, the lineup includes pieces in Japanese sizes and silhouettes, with the materials and details retooled for today's taste.

These are not just merely Japanese patterns, but pieces that have been enhanced with casual style. They've been customized to make them suitable for use in town, not just on special occasions.

Here is one piece from the Script(Hanatabi Gakudan) brand : a reversible Japanese souvenir jacket for Men.

Made with 100% satin polyester and lined in 100% satin polyester.
Satin offers a unique flowing drape and sheen.

The front features a quilted effect with a moderate amount of polyester batting inside to protect you from the cold.
Not overfilling the batting keeps the jacket from looking bulky and ensures a clean silhouette.
TThe quilting keeps the batting from shifting around while you wear the jacket.

The reverse sides are lined in polyester, making putting the garment on and taking it off easy. This feature is designed to prevent friction with other layers of clothing.

To replicate the hand-worked embroidered of artisans, who manipulate the fabric while working, factory used advanced mechanical embroidery equipment.

The collar, cuffs, and hem are inset with a 70% acrylic/30% wool fabric.

Front zip closure:The front zipper moves smoothly, and won't get stuck, with rounded edges to protect the fabric. The zipper is a special-order piece from YKK.

The front and reverse sides of the hips feature welted pockets.

The jackets featured a variety of oriental designs(eagle・tiger・dragon) and/or the servicemen's very own designs of their unit or base name,etc. Later, souvenir jackets became commercialized and sold through Post Exchanges (PX;commissaries within the US army bases) throughout Japan.
