東洋エンタープライズ社(Toyo Enterprises)ブランドのミリタリーレーベル「Buzz Rickson バズリクソン」のM-65フィールドジャケットです(メンズ ミリタリージャケット)です。

M-65は、その採用期間にいくつかの仕様変更が行われ、大まか4つに分類されます。ファーストモデルはジッパーがアルミ製でエポレットが付かないモデル、セカンドモデルはジッパーがアルミ製でエポレットが付くモデル、サードモデルはジッパーがブラス(真鍮製)のモデル、フォースモデルはジッパーがプラスチック製のモデルです。

本製品は、そのM-65の2nd Model(セカンドモデル)の復刻品です。

素材コットン100%のヘビーウェイトコットンバックサテンです。高密度に織られたハリとコシのある頑強で肉厚な生地です。生地表面には横線が入った様に見える、ムラ感・スラブ感のある独特の風合い生地で、ミリタリーらしい無骨な表情ながら、しなやかな着心地も併せ持つ生地です。

身頃裏地と袖裏地は、コットン70%、ナイロン30%のツイル生地です。インナーウェアとの摩擦を考慮した袖通しの良い生地です。

中綿なしのライトアウター(薄手のコート)なので、羽織りのアウターとして、主に春先から秋口まで年間を通して、幅広く着用できるアイテムです。

フロントはジップアップで、ジッパーには「クラウン社製スプリングオートロック式」アルミニウムファスナーが使用され、その上を6つの隠しスナップボタンで留める比翼(ストームフラップ)仕立てで、風が侵入してくるのを防いでくれるつくりになっています。

スタンドカラーにはジッパーが付き、中に簡易的なフードを内蔵しています。スタンドカラーにはオプションとしてより防寒性の高いフードを取り付けるためのボタンホールが開けられています(オプションのフードは付属していません)。

左衿にはベルクロ(マジックテープ)留めのチンストラップが装着されています。襟を立て、右衿のベルクロに固定することで首元から寒気が侵入するのを防ぐようにされています。チンストラップを使用しないときには邪魔にならないように左衿のベルクロに留めておくことができます。

両胸と両ウエストには隠しスナップボタン付きの大型フラップポケットが備え付けられています。ウエストポケットの袋地にはコットンツイル生地が使用されています。

腕を動き易くするための背中肩口のアクションプリーツ、服を密着させ体を動き易くするために内側に付けられた腰と裾のドローストリング(紐)、ジャングルの中で手の甲を守るための袖口のベルクロ留め折込み式フラップ、袖口開口調節用のベルクロアジャスタータブ等、M-65のデザイン性、機能性も再現されています。

This Jacket is made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson from Toyo Enterprises. Body pattern is a reproduction of the The U. S. Army M-65 Field Jacket ( COAT, MAN'S, FIELD, M-65 M-1965 Field Coat also known as the M65, M1965 Combat Jacket ) Generation II (M65 2nd Model, second-generation). And this jacket is cut to Modern Fit for a more fashion-forward looks than Classic Fit. This lightweight outerwear piece can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall. This jacket is new creations by Buzz Rickson by Toyo Enterprises from Japan.

Outer shell : 100% Cotton heavyweight satin-backed (back sateen) outer shell to precisely match US Army specs. Non-stretch, tightly woven satin-backed fabric with a slubby and rough-hewn texture and rugged appearance and uneven surface from horizontal lines on the face of the fabric. It has a vintage appearance due to the light puckering of the stitching and sophisticated wrinkles on the face of the fabric for the fashionable vintage feel and look. It is high density and extremely durable. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. The more you wear, the more fabric will fade beautifully and continue to get softer and cozier.

Lining shell : Inner lining in the body and sleeves are made of 70% cotton and 30% nylon blended, thin, lightweigt, density and tightness weave twill fabric. This lining is smooth and sleek so you can take the jacket off and put it on easily.

Interlining (Type of insulation ) : Unlined, No fill, No inside padding, Lightweight Outerwear. This lightweight outerwear piece can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall seasons. Great for wearing mid-season or even in the winter with under layering.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Zipper closure. Front Fastener. Crown Aluminum Spring Automatic Lock. Crown zipper with all-cotton zipper tape : The zipper is covered with a storm flap that fastens with concealed snap buttons across the zipper. This design protects the wind from slipping through the front. A cotton tab has been attached to zipper pull-tab, making it easy to open and close when riding a motorcycle or wearing gloves (or both).

Storage : The jacket has four exterior pockets. Two large-sized chest cargo pockets with flap closures secured by hidden snap-down buttons. And Two large exterior inside hanging pockets with flap closures secured by hidden snap-down buttons at the lower front section of the front.

Collar : A convertible stand-up collar with velcro closure throat latch (throat tab, neck strap, chin strap, throat latch) to make fastening easy with a velcro tape. Throat latch that, when fastened, will help throat chilling winds from entering the jacket neck area. You can also hide a neck strap (a chin strap, a throat tab) with throat tab keeper velcro underneath collar, when you do not use a throat tab. This M-65 has a hidden hood in the zippered collar. The hood can be pulled out from the collar and rolled away into the collar.

Cuff type : Adjustable velcro tab cuffs. And the M-65 has hidden triangular velcro cuff designed to extend out and attach or cover gloves.

On the inside of the jacket there are buttons for attaching the insulating liner in cold weather, but liner is NOT INCLUDED in this product. The jacket collar incorporates four button-holes for attachment of a extreme cold weather hood, but a extreme cold weather hood is NOT INCLUDED in this product.
