この製品は、1950年代のビンテージスカジャン(スーベニアジャケット)をイメージしたボディに、日本地図と龍をモチーフにしたデザインを落とし込んだ刺繍カスタムスカジャンです。ヴィンテージスタイルの要素を随所に盛り込みつつも、テーラーメイドの繊細なスリムシルエット、ディテール、縫製を取り入れ、街着として着易い洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。

シルエットは身幅が絞られ、着丈も短めにされた現代的でシャープなスリムフィットスタイルに再構築され、スタイリッシュにご着用いただけますようにデザインされています。

このスカジャンは、リバーシブル仕様で、表側(別珍)、裏側(サテン)ともに総刺繍で柄が配されています。

リバーシブル表側素材はコットン100%の別珍生地です。別珍は起毛して立てた毛羽を刈りそろえ、ビロード状に仕上げた生地です。

リバーシブル裏側素材はインナーウェアとの摩擦を考慮した袖通しの良い滑りのよいレーヨン100%のサテン生地です。シルクにような光沢感、ソフトな風合い、ドレープ感が特徴の生地です。新品でありながら、くすんだ色落ち感、程よいオールドビンテージ感、上品なシワ感、織り傷・織りムラ感などの経年変化の魅力を再現して、購入時からヴィンテージさながらの風合いを楽しむことができるサテンに仕上げられています。

中綿は詰められていませんので、モコモコ感がなく、すっきりとした着用感になります。また、中綿なしの薄手のライトアウターですので、春先から秋口まで軽く羽織れ、年間を通して、幅広く着用できます。

フロントはジップアップでの開閉式です。

表生地・裏生地ともにウエスト部には、三角形の補強ステッチが付いた弧状の配色両玉縁ポケットが設けられています。

柄は総刺繍で描かれています。

刺繍は、手振り刺繍の風合いを再現するため、高度な技術をもった機械刺繍で表現されています。

Script Men's Velvet Japanese Souvenir Jacket Japan Map Sukajan SVJ-001

Fully Reversible, Velvet x Rayon satin, No inside padding, Embroidered souvenir jacket. This sukajan jacket is produced by Japanese casualwear brand Script Hanatabi Gakudan from Switch Planning and made in China. Also this souvenir jacket is inspired by the customized souvenir jackets worn by military personnel in the 1940s-1960s to commemorate tours of duty in Japan. Japanese dragon, tiger, sparrowhawk and Maiko ( Geisha ) motifs are artfully interwoven with meticulously stitched Japan map referencing the bases where servicemen were stationed and the places they visited while on leave. New original designs are made for the modern age. And this sukajan is cut to Slim Fit with short in the body length for a more fashion-forward looks. A sleeker fit has been incorporated in this jacket for those who prefer something more tailored and less bulky, whereby the armholes have been raised slightly higher, the sleeves more tapered, and the body slimmed down. And the jacket is not bulky or puffy.

Fully Reversible, front and reverse side are embroidered.

Outer shell (front side) : Made of 100% cotton micro velveteen (velvet), fine brushed fabric with a short dense pile on the face of the fabric for a distinctive soft feel.

Lining shell (reverse side) : Made of 100% rayon. Light-weight, No stretch faded satin. High weave density satin offers a unique flowing drape and sheen with a silky hand. Satin is a weave that has a glossy face and a soft, slippery texture. This item is washed once for a faded, dull hue, and a fashionable vintage feel and look. The satin fabric with sophisticated wrinkles and runs caused by pulls or snags gives it a true vintage feel. It is smooth and sleek so you can take the jacket off and put it on easily.

Interlining (Type of insulation) : No fill, No inside padding. Lightweight outerwear, suitable for spring and fall seasons. There is no internal batting, so the jacket is not bulky or puffy. It wears clean and close to the body. And this light piece of outerwear can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Zipper closure. The front zipper moves smoothly, and won't get stuck, with rounded edges to protect the fabric. The zipper is a special-order piece from YKK.

Storage : The front and reverse sides have curved double welt pockets reinforced with triangular gusseted stitches on waist. Double Welt Pockets with color-contrast.
